The 17th Annual LA SKINS FEST celebrates the annual Native American Media Awards honoring Native American achievement at the iconic Hard Rock in Hollywood. Taking place Sunday, November 19th at 8p PT, the LA SKINS FEST has saluted talented, innovative and outstanding Native American artists who have shown a unique and strong voice in media, the arts and provided leadership in our community.
There are numerous categories awarded as part of the 12th Annual Native American Media Awards, including Achievement in Film, Acting, Youth Accomplishments and many more. Every year, we showcase some of the best Native American musicians.
One of the most important aspects of the award show will include our Community Leadership Award which recognizes those people, organizations and institutions that have offered genuine change for the Native American community. Past recipients have included Los Angeles City Councilman Mitch O’Farrell,San Manuel Band of Mission Indians Chairwoman Lynn Valbuena, and television executive producer Mike Royce.
