The Native American Youth Virtual Reality Workshop launched with tribes in Colorado and Utah!
The week long interactive and educational workshop introduced the Oculus for indigenous teens and youth. The goal is to encourage Native American youth to explore careers in virtual reality.
The workshop collaborated with the following tribes and Native-led organizations to host the new initiative.

The VR workshop continued June 13th – 17th in Towaoc, CO with 360 video production combined with virtual reality tech! Check out a quick tour of the Ute Youth Skate Park as it is cleaned up by the youth Bushwacker program:

The Native Youth VR workshop continues June 20th – June 24th, 2022 at the White Mesa reservation in Utah and wraps up with a VR workshop at United American Indian Involvement June 27th – June 30th in Los Angeles.
The workshop offers a fun, career building experience working with virtual reality apps, games and resources. The program gives each participant an opportunity to work with VR Oculus headsets, use applications in the virtual environment, and be inspired to explore careers in VR.
