This project is a documentary designed to bring awareness to the epidemic of diabetes throughout Indian Country. Fashion designer Darlene Perkins of Red Lightning Couture uses her fashion shows as a vehicle to bring awareness to this serious Indigenou health crisis. Her new found Indigenous celebrity alliances join her to raise awareness.
