The NY SKINS FEST, presented by New York University, takes place November 6th – 15th, 2021 in New York, NY. This event launches more opportunities, showcases more films and highlights more Native American filmmakers!

This year, we open our virtual festivities on November 8th with hostess and journalist, Alyssa London. Alyssa will provide an overview of the films and panel available during the week. Alyssa will also host our keynote speaker – Siena East. Siena is an NYU graduate, award winning filmmaker and has participated in numerous Native American Media Alliance labs and programs. Siena will share her unique experience as an indigenous artist in media and entertainment.

We continue Wednesday November 10th with a panel of indigenous filmmakers. They will discuss their films, their careers and their obstacles moving forward. Themes will focus on amplifying indigenous filmmakers, allyship with indigenous communities and the incredible careers of our artists.

The NY SKINS FEST is privileged to partner with New York University. NYU represents one of the most prestigious institutions of higher education and is an epicenter of arts and culture.
