The 15th Annual LA SKINS FEST, presented by COMCAST NBCUniversal, takes place November 16th – 21st, 2021 in Hollywood, CA. The festival offers a genuine showcase for emerging Native American artists. In our fifteenth year, we are expanding to meet the need for our filmmakers, our artists and our voice!
The 15th annual LA SKINS FEST is presenting a cash prize to accompany our Achievement In Documentary Filmmaking award provided by YAHOO and we are launching the NY SKINS FEST! In partnership with New York University, this New York based virtual festival will host more films and advance more Native American filmmakers.
Every year, the LA SKINS FEST hosts the annual Native American Pitch Fest, Actors Panel and dozens of screenings of new indigenous films at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
After fifteen years, we have expanded our support to include the most renowned entertainment corporations, largest tech companies and Native American tribes. Corporate support of the LA SKINS FEST plays an essential role in the life of the festival and emphasizes the festival’s commitment to quality, exploration, and excellence in the art of cinema.
