Native American TV Writers Bootcamp

The Native American TV Writers Lab (NA TV Lab) is partnering with KUNG FU MONKEY PRODUCTIONS and conducting practice writers’ room to teach Native writers the method of breaking story.
NA TV Lab Fellows participating in this workshop are:
Kung Fu Monkey Productions was founded in 2012 by Executive Producers John Rogers and Jennifer Court. After five successful seasons running Leverage, John developed and ran the hit show The Librarians, for TNT, while Kung Fu Monkey developed The Player for NBC and Everstar for Amazon. Kung Fu Monkey is currently developing, among other things, a one-hour project with Louis LeTerrier and BBC Worldwide, The Iliad and Shanghai with Sony, October Daye with The Henson Company, and the tv adaptation of Patrick Rothfuss’s Kingkiller Chronicles with Lionsgate, Showtime, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
This is our first partnership with Kung Fu Monkey Productions and we are excited to have their support for the 2019 TV Writers Lab.
