Khadijah Iman was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts with an undeniable love for television, film, and music. Good luck getting her away from a classic horror flick like Child’s Play or Scream.
In 2015, she graduated from Full Sail University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing for Entertainment and moved to Los Angeles immediately after.
Shortly after her move, Khadijah was one out of seven participants selected to be apart of the Native American TV Writers Lab. While in the lab, she met with established writers, worked in a writers room style environment, and wrote a supernatural-drama pilot in five weeks.
Khadijah’s scripts have gone on to place in screenwriting contests such as, Final Draft’s Big Break and BlueCat Screenplay Competition. She also wrote horror haikus for SeraphFilms, which later turned into shorts on YouTube.
Khadijah now works at Netflix as a studio data superhero, where she uses her power of organization and strategy to help the TV, Film, and PR teams defeat current data management needs.
