“808” is an emotional rollercoaster of a film which has won the “Best Thriller Short” award in the Marina Del Rey film Festival and Semi-Finalist in both the Burbank International Film Festival and the Colorado Activist Film Festival.

The Hawaiian culture, land, and its exploitation resonate throughout the story as Kai, a lonely Hawaiian woman, returns home in hopes of reconnecting with friends and family. We meet a colorful cast of characters as she resolutely seeks answers to murder and corruption, while somehow hoping for redemption.

808 is an extremely diverse project with a variety of Minority actors cast across the board and nearly every age group represented.

The film also seeks to raise environmental awareness with its themes of connection with nature and the people involved in destroying it.
