Native Writers Recognition Event Recap

The LA SKINS FEST partnered with Lionsgate to celebrate the incredible achievements of this year’s Native American Media Alliance fellows including participants of the annual writers labs, unscripted workshop and animation initiatives. Recipients of the 2022 Native American Writer Accelerator Grant were presented with this year’s award. This grant is a $10,000 unrestricted cash award that provides valuable resources to burgeoning Native American writers. Great thanks to Lionsgate for hosting the event at their Starz location in Santa Monica.
