Native American Filmmaker and Writers Luncheon at Netflix

Netflix hosted a special luncheon to celebrate Native American filmmakers and writers as part of the 19th Annual LA Skins Fest. This exclusive event provided a unique opportunity to network, share experiences, and explore potential collaborations.
Participants from the Native American Media Alliance year round writer programs attended the event to meet with fellow writers and filmmakers as well as celebrate the 12 recipients of the 2025 Native American Writers Accelerator Grant. This is a generous program, sponsored by Netflix, that supports emerging indigenous writers with a $10,000 grant.
