Kalli Nepantla

Kalli Nepantla (The House of In-Between) is based on the real life experiences of an Indigenous woman and her family. In Kalli Nepantla, our family consists of Tlalli (older sister), Xochipilli (younger sister), and Marialena (mom). 

Each member of the family lives with their own mental health realities and fights to maintain a sense of balance. When dinner goes wrong, Tlalli looks to ancestors to help preserve her family, while she struggles to resist unwanted impulses.
