A South Texas Native, Jade Puga (Guachichil, Huastec, Lipan Apache)attended the University Of Southern California. A multi-hyphenate, she is a writer/actress/filmmaker. Together with writing and producing partner Richard Montes, their historical drama screenplay is reader recommended and trending on the Black List and was a semi-finalist at the Sundance Institute Screenwriters Lab 2017. Other screenplays include a horror feature, an urban-mystery-drama pilot (semi-finalist for Sundance Institute’s Episodic Lab 2017), a horror-comedy pilot (semi-finalist at the Sundance | YouTube New Voices Lab 2017), and a comedy pilot (semi-finalist at the Sundance Institute | YouTube New Voices Lab 2016).
