Nathaniel Cummings-Lambert 

Nathaniel Cummings-Lambert (Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians) is a PhD student in the Anthropology department and Culture and Media certificate program at New York University. He holds a BA in Religious Studies from Eugene Lang College, The New School for Liberal Arts, and an MFA in Art from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). His research focuses on ethnographic film and contemporary Indigenous art, film and video practices as well as the development of tourism, cultural heritage sites, and the local economy in Cherokee, NC and the greater Western North Carolina region through non-profit, tribal, state, and federal agencies.
