On May 31st, 2017 Native TV Writer Lab participants met with UTA television agent Tim Philips. Tim discussed his background, what agents do for their clients, and diversity in the industry. The participants inquired about representation opportunities, developing industry relationships, and creating new opportunities. Great thanks to Tim for speaking with the group.

The NATIVE AMERICAN TV WRITERS LAB is an intensive scriptwriters workshop that prepares Native Americans for writing careers at major television networks. This lab is designed to address the lack of Native American writers in primetime network TV. The 2017 Lab program dates are May 15th – June 18th, 2017.
