SUMMARY:2nd ANNUAL NATIVE AMERICAN FEATURE FILM WRITERS LAB FELLOWS ANNOUNCED
DESCRIPTION:“As part of our mission to support underrepresented and emerging filmmakers\, FilmLA is proud to support this initiative for Native American writers. Expanding the reach of underrepresented communities not only vastly broadens the entertainment library for all of us\, it also greatly increases our knowledge and understanding of the greater American community\,” announced Paul Audley\, President\, FilmLA. \nThe 2019 NATIVE AMERICAN FEATURE FILM WRITERS LAB\, sponsored by Comcast NBCUniversal\, The Walt Disney Company\, HBO\, WarnerMedia\, FilmLA\, Westward Productions\, and SAGindie\, has selected five Native American writers to be part of this year’s lab! The lab is designed to familiarize participants with the format\, characters and storyline structure of narrative feature film. \nOur fellows will take part in a ten week curriculum instructed by Amedeo D’Adamo. The lab will consist of daily workshops\, seminars and one-on-one mentoring to help each writer develop and complete a feature script in ten weeks. The ten week total immersion workshop will be conducted in Los Angeles\, CA \nMeet the 2019 NATIVE AMERICAN FEATURE FILM WRITERS LAB fellows below: \nBryson Chun (Kanaka Maoli) \nMaya Dittloff (Three Affiliated Tribes and Amskapi Piikani/Chippewa) \nYelyna De Leon (Aztec) \nKhadijah Iman (Natick Nipmuc Tribe) \nDavid Zuckerman (Ysleta del Sur Pueblo of El Paso) \nAt the end of the program\, each fellow will have completed a feature film script and will take creative meetings with various executives. Our selectees will be invited to participate in the 8th Annual Native American Writers Pitch Fest as part of the 13th Annual LA SKINS FEST in November. \n_________________________________________ \n\n\n\n\n\nSponsored:\n	\n \n \n \n \n \n View Image\n \n Comcast NBCUniversal\n \n \n \n \n \n View Image\n \n The Walt Disney Company\n \n \n \n \n \n View Image\n \n HBO\n \n \n \n \n \n View Image\n \n WarnerMedia\n \n \n \n \n \n View Image\n \n \n \n \n View Image\n \n Westward Productions\n \n \n \n \n \n View Image\n \n SAGindie
