DESCRIPTION:2017 NATIVE YOUTH MULTIMEDIA WORKSHOP GOES TO VIEJAS!\n\nVery Special Thanks to the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay in Alpine\, California for having us for the 4th time. It is an honor to be invited back to your community this summer! \nThe Native Youth Multimedia Workshop teaches Native American youth to write\, direct\, shoot and edit their own movies! Every year\, the workshop travels to reservations throughout North America and Indigenous communities throughout the world to teach youth multimedia skills. \n\nThe workshop will take place July 24th – July 28th with a community screening on July 29th. \nAdditionally\, the youth films from the workshops will be screened at the 2017 LA SKINS FEST in Los Angeles during November.  Youth will be invited to the film festival as special guests and will be brought on tours of movie studios and television networks. \n\n\nFor information about the multimedia program\, please email contact@laskinsfest.com
