DESCRIPTION:Saturday November 18th and Sunday November 19th  \nTCL Chinese Theater \nWe will screen over sixty Native American films that include premieres of several new dramas\, documentaries\, animation and youth films at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood. \nThe LA SKINS FEST annually showcases works by independent Native American filmmakers that provide insight into the beauty\, complexity and diversity of Native American people. The festival offers filmmakers an opportunity to show their work so audiences of all ages and interests can enrich their experience and understanding of Native America. \nThe 11th Annual LA SKINS FEST is sponsored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences\, Comcast NBCUniversal. San Manuel Band of Mission Indians\, CBS Entertainment Diversity\, National Endowment for the Arts\, HBO\, Streampix\, Turner\, Netflix\, CBS Corp\, A+E\, Walt Disney Studios\, 21 Century Fox\, Aids Healthcare Foundation\, Lionsgate\, STARZ\, ABC7\, Paramount\, Sony\, Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs\, City of Los Angeles Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell and the UCLA – American Indian Studies Center.
