SUMMARY:2018 Native American Documentary Track Program
DESCRIPTION:The documentary track program will be composed of an intensive panel discussion with Visionmaker Executive Director Shirley Sneve\, First Nations Experience Executive Director Micah Wright and Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program Film Fund Manager Paola Mottura. The panel will be moderated by LA Skins Fest Executive Director Ian Skorodin. We will have a food and beverage reception to congratulate our filmmakers and  meet with our speakers after the panel’s conclusion. \nThe reception will be followed by the screening of the highly acclaimed and hard-hitting documentary WARRIOR WOMEN. Through a circular indigenous style of storytelling\, Warrior Women relates the lifelong struggle of a Lakota mother and daughter in the American Indian Movement’s fight for Native liberation from the 1970s to protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline in Standing Rock\, ND in 2016. \nTickets Available Here: \n\nIn Partnership with: \n\n	\n		\n			\n			\n			\n			\n			View Image\n			\n			\n			\n			\n			View Image
