DESCRIPTION:The LA SKINS FEST offers a genuine voice for emerging Native American actors\, filmmakers\, writers\, directors and our community of artists. After ten years\, we have garnered support from several art foundations\, entertainment corporations\, and Native American tribes. \nOn Saturday November 19th 10pm\, we host an annual industry mixer for filmmakers\, Native American leaders and the Hollywood community. The event will take place at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood\, CA. \nGuests will meet with Native American filmmakers from reservation throughout North American and see the incredible and historic Hard Rock Cafe\, that includes historical collectables from cinema\, TV and the music world. \nAdvance tickets are $10 for the public. Tickets will be available at the door for $15. \nEvery year\, we premier several Native-made movies that feature Q&A’s with Native American filmmakers\, panel discussions with industry professionals and after parties that feature new Native American musicians. The SKINS AWARD SHOW is our closing night event that honors the great achievements in Native American filmmaking.
