Angelique’s Isle is a story about love and survival. Abandoned on a deserted island with her voyageur husband, Charlie (Carrick), Angelique (Jones), an Anishinaabe woman, finds her faith tested as she fights starvation, the elements, and the treacherous Lake Superior.
