Star Line

It’s a stormy night, a dingy apartment building, and Wanda is running. When an unlocked door at the end of the hallway offers potential refuge Wanda is not expecting to find two young girls waiting for her on the other side. In exchange for safety, they only ask her for one thing, a story. As Wanda tells them the legend of Star Girl and Wolverine, flashbacks to her past are revealed in strong parallel to the tale she is telling; descent from a happy relationship, an abusive partner, and the decision to finally fight back. Now, Wanda must find the strength to face the trauma of her past, and embrace the healing necessary for her future, before it’s too late…because something is trying to break into their apartment.
