The 12th Annual LA SKINS FEST  will celebrates it’s filmmakers, writers, actors and leaders with our annual Native American Media Awards. Since 2013, the LA SKINS FEST has honored it’s talented, innovative and outstanding artists who have shown a unique and strong voice in the entertainment industry and provided leadership in our community.

There are numerous categories awarded as part of the 2018 Native American Media Awards held in the heart of Hollywood. The gala will be taking place at the Lowes Hotel in Hollywood. We will be honoring Native American artist who have accomplished important milestones in television, film, and new media. 

Awards will be given to distinguished individuals who have offered something new, groundbreaking and impactful within an artistic, cinematic and social change capacity. 

One of the most important aspects of the award show will include our Community Leadership Award which recognizes those people, organizations and institutions that have offered genuine change for the Native American community. Past recipients have included Los Angeles City Councilman Mitch O’Farrell, San Manuel Band of Mission Indians Chairwoman Lynn Valbuena, and the Native American Veterans Association.
